Photo Resizer Online processes every image locally in your web browser using the Canvas API. When you resize, compress, or convert a photo, the file is read directly on your device, transformed on your device, and saved back to your device.
We do not upload, receive, store, view, or share your images — ever. There is no server that your photos pass through, which means there is nothing for us (or anyone else) to access, leak, or lose.
We do not require an account, so we never collect your name, email address, or password. We do not collect the images you process, their file names, their metadata, or their content. We do not sell any data to third parties.
We use Google Analytics, a web analytics service provided by Google LLC, to understand how visitors use our website so we can improve it. Google Analytics collects standard, aggregated usage information such as: the pages you visit and how long you stay, your approximate geographic location (country or city level), your device type, operating system, and browser, and how you arrived at our site (for example, from a search engine).
This data is collected through cookies and similar technologies, and is aggregated and pseudonymous — it does not identify you personally, and it never includes your images or anything about them. Google processes this information on our behalf in accordance with its own privacy policy, available at policies.google.com/privacy.
The only cookies used on this site are those set by Google Analytics (such as _ga and _gid) to distinguish visits and measure site usage. We do not use advertising cookies or tracking pixels of our own.
You can block or delete cookies at any time through your browser settings. The image resizer works perfectly with cookies disabled.
If you prefer not to be included in our analytics, you can: install the official Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on (available at tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout), enable “Do Not Track” or use a content blocker in your browser, or simply block cookies for this site.
Opting out has no effect on the tool itself — all features remain fully available.
Because your images are never sent to us, there is no image data to retain or delete. Aggregated analytics data is retained by Google Analytics according to the retention period configured in our analytics settings, after which it is automatically deleted.
Our Service is a general-audience tool and does not knowingly collect personal information from children. Since we collect no personal information from any user, no special handling of children's data occurs.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Any changes will be posted on this page with a revised “Last updated” date. We encourage you to review this page occasionally.
